Tiffany Dais has a passion for helping others. This shows up in many ways but my experience shows my progress as I learned to help people from different walks of life. I started my journey at the Spring of Tampa Bay for victims of domestic violence in 2007. I worked in the outreach program along with assisting women and children. I would assist with picking out household items so that the clients could have a brand new start. They were able to receive furniture, diapers, clothes and whatever they needed to provide them with getting a new life. I continued there for 8 years while fine tuning how to assist the women and children in their emotional and physical needs. I needed to continue progressing and eventually shifted gears by going into a group home in 2015. I aided clients with daily tasks at Comartie Group Home where I eventually grew in the ranks to become a supervisor within 4 months. In the process, I was able to prevent the group home from closing their doors by passing the Del Maria inspection.
Next, I made headway and eventually was introduced to another group home. I started working at Quest Inc. in 2018 as a Direct Support Professional and within 6 months I made my advancement into the Lead of the group home. For the next three years, rain or shine, I provided clients with supporting help while still promoting independence. I took a leap out of faith in the beginning of 2022 and got rid of everything I owned and moved out of my home to pursue my dream of starting my ministry called On The Porch Ministries. I eventually over the year became homeless but I did not give up hope. I met Mr. Parker and he helped me get back on my feet because of Homeless Helping Homeless Inc. I eventually started working with people who were homeless while being homeless. This gave me a new fire. I stay ready with zeal to ameliorate the living situations for people in their minds and life. With these experiences, I would love to continue so that people all over can benefit and grow in themselves, possibly to plant seeds for others to start.
