CHILD CARE – ELDERLY PARENT CARE and YOU
Our February 11, 2021 Mind, Body, and Spirit forum: Child Care – Elderly Parent Care – And YOU provided a platform for discussion on the needs of mothers and their babies and toddlers, from intervention to pregnancy to delivery to postpartum blues to healthcare/wellness access. The second part of the forum focused on women who not only are still raising their children, but are now also taking care of their parents…known as “The Sandwich Generation”.
Within the forum there were numerous opportunities to attend multiple sessions. The plenary session was a set of presentations from our Keynote Speaker Elizabeth O’Donnell and Guest Speakers – Lo Berry, Michele Walker, Frances Luna, and Chathay Washington. Other sessions were hosted by additional speakers and businesses in the breakout rooms.
